Eddie Bauer Montecito Tandem Strollers

The Eddie Bauer Montecito tandem is designed and built by one of the more recognizable names in the baby stroller industry. Not only is it a very attractive model but it also makes it easy for you to take your two children with you when you are venturing away from home. The last thing you want is a big and cumbersome double stroller that you cannot move around the obstacles in your path. The engineers at Eddie Bauer realized this and set out to build a tandem that was both durable and maneuverable.

The Montecito includes many qualities that any parent can appreciate. The seats have a 3 point harness system to keep your babies safe and secure. Also, the canopy features a peek-a-boo window to maximize viewing. Other features include a removable front tray with a juice box holder, rugged 9.5" wheels, easy to hold handles, stadium seating so the rear child can see what's in front, and a 40 pound capacity per seat. It will fold up into a quite small package that easily fits into most trunks.

Our Opinion Of It

The Eddie Bauer Montecito is a nice tandem stroller for the price but it does have a couple flaws. While it does have some storage capabilities this could be expanded as it won't hold much more than the diaper bag. Also, the sun canopy does not fully cover the child in front which could be a problem on a very sunny day. Steering can only be accomplished by using both your hands too but this is to be expected with the smaller wheels. If you are used to a jogger that has larger wheels you won't like the rigid steering on this stroller. Other than these few small complaints, the Montecito is a nice double tandem stroller that will keep your children comfortable while you are shopping or just walking around the park.
