Kolcraft Universal Tandem Strollers

This double baby stroller is good for a family with two toddlers or a new infant with a toddler at home but not for someone who just had twins. While the rear seat will accommodate almost every brand of car seat, the front will not secure a seat. The stadium style seating (rear seat elevated) is great for two toddlers, though, as the back child will still be able to look around. Both seats do have canopies to protect the children from the weather and they are adjustable.

The Express Rider Universal tandem stroller has convenient front and back child trays with dual cup holders so both children can have snacks, drinks and toys at hand while you are out and about. For the rest of the needed supplies, including the diaper bag, there is a large storage basket with bottle holders built in. Especially when you traveling with two, all parents know there is a lot of items you must take with you so storage is very important.

This stroller has a one hand fold system that really does work well once you've had a bit of practice. It's a little difficult to do when first purchased but does get easier as it loosens up from use. For a tandem stroller, this unit is surprisingly lightweight so it isn't difficult to get in and out of the car.

Our Opinion Of It

Overall this stroller provides good value for the money. There are only a couple of things we didn't like with the Express Rider Universal. One is that the the front tray is hard to open to get a child into the seat plus you have to completely remove in order for the stroller to fit into the trunk. The other thing we miss on this stroller is a cup tray for the parent.
