Peg Perego Triplette Tandem Strollers
The Peg Perego Triplette is a premium tandem stroller designed in Italy that offers larger families an easier way to get around with three babies or toddlers. This is an extremely versatile product. If you have triplet newborns, remove all three seats and attach three Primo Viaggio car seats. If you have twin newborns and a toddler, remove only two seats for car seat attachment, leaving a roomy spot for your older child. All three seats can be adjusted to face backward or forward, at the same time or alternating which is a great way to face an infant towards you while placing two older children facing each other so they can play.
Each seat has it's own ventilated hood which can be unzipped to a full size canopy for superb sun protection for each child along with boots that help keep warmth in when the weather isn't so bright. Toddlers will love the floating design of the five point harness system which allows for a great range of motion while still maintaining the safety of the child.
The oversized 12" tires help keep the ride smooth while going over just about any terrain while rear wheel brakes keep the stroller securely in position while parked. The new Steerable System incorporated into the handlebar makes this stroller maneuver with ease, particularly when compared to other triple tandem strollers.
What We Feel About It
While the Peg Perego Triplette may seem a bit expensive for a stroller, you really don't have a lot of choices when it comes to a triple tandem stroller. At least Peg Perego has created a system that could take you from newborn to pre-school without having to buy another stroller. There are many attractive features in this stroller that will make it not only more comfortable for the children but also easier to use for the parent. The steering system is one of the most important features as the few other options in triple strollers are often very difficult to maneuver.
