Safety 1st Two Way Tandem Strollers

This tandem stroller is excellent for twins since both seats can accommodate Designer 22 car seats but can also be ideal for families with two toddlers or one toddler and an infant. The front seat can be reversed so the children can face each other to play together. When both seats are facing forward, the stadium style seating allows the rear child to still be able to see all around. The rear seat reclines flat for a newborn while the front seat has two reclining positions for an older child.

The five-point harness system on both seats keeps both children safe and secure. Parents won't have to worry about an active child figuring out how to get out of the stroller. There is a huge storage basket so you can easily stow two diaper bags and a multitude of other supplies. The front seat has an easily removable snack tray complete with juice box holder and there is a great "parent-assist" tray with cupholder and a handy storage compartment built in. The best thing is that it has a really easy one hand release system so it folds quickly and easily.

What We Think Of It

The Two Way tandem is a nicely designed, sturdy and durable double stroller. It's versatile enough to suit several family configurations and the reversing front seat is a good feature. Let the older child play with the younger unless it becomes a problem, then switch the seat around to let them face forward for a while. The parent's snack tray actually holds three cups where many will only hold one. This is very handy when the whole family is on an outing.

The one thing that we didn't like in this stroller is that it is very heavy, making it hard to lift in and out of the trunk. Of course, with something this sturdy you would expect it to be a bit heavier than normal.
